Cookie Policy

Last updated

Effective date: 25 October 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how RizSTACK Technologies Private Limited ("RizSTACK", "Blockora", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on https://blockora.net and in the Blockora web application (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

This policy covers cookies set by the Blockora Service itself. It does not cover cookies on websites that you or other users build and publish with Blockora. If you publish a website, you are responsible for its own cookie notice and consent.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and SDKs. In this policy, we call all of these "cookies".

  • First-party cookies are set by us. Third-party cookies are set by another company, such as an analytics provider.
  • Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

2.1. Strictly necessary (always on)

These cookies are required for the Service to work and cannot be turned off. They include cookies that:

  • keep you signed in and maintain your session after you sign in with Google or GitHub;
  • protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) and other security threats;
  • support the OAuth sign-in flow (for example, state and nonce values);
  • balance load and keep the Service available; and
  • support checkout and fraud prevention by our payment processor, Stripe.

2.2. Preferences (functional)

These cookies remember choices you make or how you arrived. We use one: blockora_ref, which remembers the referral link you came from (see Section 3). Your theme preference (light or dark mode) is stored in your browser's localStorage, not in a cookie.

2.3. Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how people use the marketing site, plus our own first-party usage statistics in the app. Our analytics tool does not use cookies and does not collect personal identifiers. We do not currently set any analytics cookies. Because analytics cookies can involve the processing of personal data, we would only set them with your consent, as required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, for users in the EEA and UK, by local law.

2.4. Marketing

We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies.

3. Cookies We Use

The list below covers the main cookies and storage we use. Names and durations may change as we update the Service.

The marketing site at https://blockora.net sets no cookies. Your currency choice is stored in your browser's localStorage. Cloudflare Web Analytics on the marketing site is cookieless.

The app at https://app.blockora.net uses:

  • blockora_session: strictly necessary. Keeps you signed in. Lasts 2 hours of inactivity. First-party.
  • XSRF-TOKEN: strictly necessary. Protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Lasts 2 hours. First-party.
  • remember_web_*: strictly necessary. Keeps you signed in on this device when you log in with the option to stay signed in. Lasts about 400 days. First-party. The actual cookie name ends with a unique identifier.
  • blockora_did: strictly necessary for security. Random encrypted device identifier used to prevent abuse and fraud. Lasts 2 years. First-party.
  • blockora_ref: functional. Remembers the referral link you arrived from so the referrer can be credited. Lasts 30 days. First-party.
  • Stripe cookies such as __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid: strictly necessary. Set by Stripe on checkout and billing pages for payment fraud prevention. Last up to 1 year and 30 minutes respectively. Third-party (Stripe).
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (challenges.cloudflare.com): strictly necessary. Bot protection on the public abuse-report form. Lasts for the session. Third-party (Cloudflare).

Your theme preference is stored in localStorage, not in a cookie. We set no analytics cookies.

4. Your Consent

Strictly necessary cookies are used on the basis that they are needed to provide the Service you have asked for. We only use strictly necessary cookies and one functional cookie (remembering your referral link), so no consent banner is needed. We will ask for your consent before adding any non-essential analytics or marketing cookies in the future. If you have a question or grievance about our use of cookies, contact our Grievance Officer as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. How to Control Cookies

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the cookies we use or for legal reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where required, ask for your consent again.
